Bibiana Salmon for Doral

Dear Doral Community

My name is Bibiana Salmon and I am running for a Doral City Council seat in the upcoming November 2012 election.

I have lived and worked in Doral for over 22 years and I love my City. 

Many years ago, when we were surrounded by open fields and cows, it was clear that the only way my two daughters would grow up in a safe, prosperous, and healthy environment, was if the community around us had those characteristics.

Having been involved as an active participant in the growth and development of our community, I continued as a PTA member and as a school volunteer. In 2002 I closed the businesses I owned in Doral and since then I dedicate my time to  help improve my community in every way I can.

Today, as we take a look at our beloved City of Doral, we are grateful to those leaders in our municipal government who have built the city into what it is today. 

 Envisioning a future for Doral that continues to grow responsibly, must include facilitating new businesses get started, while continuing to support our current commercial and industrial sector. Crucial to our quality of life is to ensure that our residents, our youth and our Doral families have access to growth-concurrent services and that we offer recreational programs geared to satisfy the needs of our multicultural and diverse population. I firmly believe in a balanced budget and in growing a healthy reserve to face times of need without raising taxes.

 Allow me to humbly ask for your support as I ask all “Doraleños” to give me the opportunity to continue to serve my community from a Council seat position.
